“It is very difficult to stand in the place where a front man of a band once stood. Dennis was a very strong front man for the songs he contributed to Styx. I look at it like I have to honor that every night I go on stage. I don’t know him personally, and I didn’t have to go through all the things that Tommy, JY, Chuck and Dennis went through. I do know it was like a divorce. Dennis made a great contribution to the band and I am going to do everything that I can, with the gifts that I have, to make sure that the spirit of the band is, at least, as strong as it has ever been…
